Policies
By purchasing from the shop, you acknowledge and agree to all of the following policies:
Refunds
No refunds, cancellations, or exchanges.
All sales are final, especially pre-orders and P4Ps. Pre-order sales and P4Ps are held in order to fund the production of the pin. Therefore, pre-orders and P4Ps are not refundable.
If there is something you'd like to change (add another item, change address before shipping) you can contact me via email ([email protected]) or the contact form.
I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please make sure you keep track of your package via the tracking number. If the package says "Delivered", I cannot do anything.
★ Once the package is handed off to the mail carrier, I am no longer responsible for delays, damage, or loss; this includes the package being opened or tampered with, stolen goods, etc. as it is out of my hands once I've dropped it off at the post office.
Returns
Orpheus Pins does not accept returns. All orders are final.
Refunds and Replacements on Missing Items in Order
In order to be eligible for a refund or replacement on a missing item from your order (that is due to my mistake), you must provide proof such as video-recording the unboxing of your order when you initially received it.
This is to show as proof to me that the package was not tampered or opened already, and that I indeed made a mistake and missed an item.
My policies do state that I'm not responsible for the state of the package, including being damaged, tampered with or opened, stolen goods, as it is out of my hands once I've dropped it off at the post office. However, if the package arrived to you in good condition with no evidence of it being opened and you find that an item is missing, then naturally that means that I made a mistake when fulfilling the order --- therefore, having the unboxing video will help establish that and make the refund / replacement process more easier.
Note: I highly recommend recording an unboxing whenever you receive any orders that contain more than 1 item from any shop! Lots of pinmakers have started implementing this policy, and it definitely makes sense and helps both sides when approaching this issue, allowing them to come to a solution quickly. Seriously, it really helps the shop owner and they would definitely appreciate it!
Shipping
★ Packages are sent from USA; domestic and Canada orders shipped via USPS, international orders shipped via Asendia.
★ Shipping options include Standard (USA; with tracking), and International (with tracking).
★ Packages do not automatically come with insurance. Please purchase it in my shop to add it to your order if you'd like to add insurance.
★ Please check with me beforehand to see if shipping is allowed to your country or if there are other alternative shipping services. I use Simple Export Rate for international shipments, which uses Asendia and includes full tracking for International orders. International shipping starts at $10.99 USD for 0.5 pound (lb); see the table below for more shipping rates. If you prefer another shipping method, please let me know. 
★ If you'd like to host a group order for your country, feel free to DM me on Instagram @orpheuspins.
★ Orders will be processed and shipped within 5-7 business days. If you receive a notification that your order has been shipped with a tracking number, please allow at least 2-3 days for it update properly since I must physically drop it off at the post office and get it scanned.
★ Tracking numbers can sometimes take up to 48 hours to update.
★ UK / EU buyers: VAT/taxes are not collected in my shop, therefore you are responsible for any VAT, taxes or fees assessed by your home country's customs or postal unit to obtain the package.
★ Once the package is handed off to the mail carrier, I am no longer responsible for delays, damage, or loss; this includes the package being opened or tampered with, stolen goods, etc. as it is out of my hands once I've dropped it off at the post office.
Combined Shipping
★ Multiple orders made within a 24-hour time period (or weekend sale) are automatically combined. Excess shipping cost will be refunded once orders start getting packed, or if pre-orders, then once the pre-order period ends.
★ Some refunds may be partial depending on the added amount of weight for the orders.
★ Please note that Stripe and PayPal charge a fee for each refund. Therefore, by using Stripe or PayPal you are acknowledging that you will not be reimbursed for the fee.
★ Refunds can take 2-3 business days to process back to your bank or PayPal account.
Purchasing
— For Regular Pins —
★ You are only allowed to purchase 2 pins of the same variant. (ie. 2 Black Nickel variant and 2 Gold variant is fine)
— For P4P / Danmei Pins —
★ If there is a purchase limit, it will be announced before the drop; (ie. may be any amount allowed per purchase or a set limit).
Trading / Selling
★ When reselling, you cannot sell the pin for more than 15% of the Drop Price + Shipping + Shipping. If you need reference for the selling price, feel free to check out the Pin Info sheet for all details of each pin, including prices.
— For Pre-Orders —
★ Please wait at least 14 days after your order has been marked 'delivered' before trading pre-order pins.
★ Do not offer the pin for trade until you actually have it in your possession.
★ Do not resell the pin until it has been in your possession for at least 30 days.
★ If production of the pin takes longer than 6 months, the waiting time to trade/resell no longer applies (aka you can trade/resell once you receive it).
— For In-Hand Items —
★ Please wait at least 45 days after your order has been marked 'delivered' before trading in-hand pins.
★ Do not offer the pin for trade until you actually have it in your possession.
★ Do not resell the pin until it has been in your possession for at least 60 days.
— For P4P Pins —
★ If you decide to trade the P4P pin, you must trade it to the exact value.
- For example, if you want a $25 pin but the pin you're offering for the trade was a $8 P4P pin, then you must supplement your trade with a bit more so that the exchange is equal for you both.
- The same goes for high value traders; for example, if you want a highly valued pin and the running market value (the value the community sees it as and has been consistently selling it at) is $200, then you must supplement your trade with more so that the exchange is equal for you both. This can range from additional pins, ISOs, merch, money and more; as long as it results in equal exchange.
—— This is to deter people from ISO-ing high valued traders (using P4P pins for trade) only to turn around and resell the same ISO; in summary, making profit from the exchange. It may or may not be their intention, but I want to make sure my pins are traded equally and fairly as P4P pins. Each P4P maker probably has their own interpretation of equal value in P4P pin trading, therefore, I want to make my policy clear for those who plan on buying my P4P pins and might trade in the future; if you do not like this policy or agree with it, you are not obligated to purchase my P4P pins.
